Global Photo Campaign

We started the Stop the Violence Global Photo Campaign in response to the shocking fact that one in 3 women will become a victim of violence in their life times. That’s one billion women. The fist represents ‘violence’, the open palm represents ‘stop’ – this has become a powerful visual symbol that works internationally.

In the first year we have had photos donated from France, UK, India, Nepal, Germany, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba, South Africa, Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and special mention to Canada who has been the largest donator of photos of any country.

If you’d like to help us collect one billion photos, please email your photo to onebillionstronger@gmail.com or post it to our Facebook page.
